Unaccompanied Baggage
An unaccompanied baggage shipment can be described as a part of the members weight allowance that is shipped seperately from the members Household Goods Shipment. Think of this as a smaller expedited shipment that you have available to you to receive certain items quicker upon arrival at your destination. Unaccompanied baggage is limited to 600 pounds for the member and 200 pounds for each dependent. For civilian personnel 350 lbs for each adult and dependent age 12 or older, and 175 lbs for each child under 12. Various oversees locations, types of tours, etc can determine a potential lower limit. Please note, unaccompanied baggage is apart of your weight limit.

Clothing
Clothes are fine to ship in UB.

Small Electrical Appliances
Walkman, ipad, laptop, microwave and 32 inch TV (TV cannot be more than 32 inches).

Cookwear & Other
Linens, dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils are approved.

Health & Wellness
Small articles essential to health and wellness are approved. To include, golf clubs, bowling ball, and other small sporting goods. Bicycles are also approved.

Infant dependents
Cribs, playpens, and other necessary articles for the immediate care and comfort of infant dependents.

PBP&E
Professional book, papers, and equipment must be declared and identified on the inventory sheets as "PBP&E"

Major Appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other major appliances.

Furniture
Furniture items are not approved in UB.

High Value
Items of extroadinary value.

Alcohol
Alcohol beverages cannot be shipped in a UB shipment.
